İlknur Bilir is a freelance editor and reporter who focuses on national and transnational communities, digital societies, culture, and art. She graduated from the Boğaziçi University in Western Languages and Literature and minored in Film Studies. Ilknur is now writing her MA thesis on alternative film distribution models in Turkey at the Cinema and Television Department at the Istanbul Bilgi University. Ilknur is aso a podcaster at the independent network of podcasts Medyapod. She hosted a weekly podcast program Cinesapiens, and produced and hosted weekly culture and cinema program Sinemasalı (Cine-tale) on Medyascope.tv.
